Well… covers or originals?

That question was answered instantly and irrefutably: “Originals !”
“So, originals it is”.

It was a warm, clear evening on the last day of spring—June 20, 1984.
In the shadow of the white Dutch windmill St. Antonius, of our hometown in the Netherlands, a small shed had been transformed into a rehearsal space.
That evening, a guitarist auditioned for a vacancy in what would become a brand-new band.
Later that night, that same guitarist and the bass player made a decision that would define decades to come: they would write original music. That band would later be called Post Diluvian.

Musicians came and went—keeping a band together turned out to be tough.
In 1986, we made a turning point decision: we would no longer rely on a full lineup to keep creating.
Our first mini home studio was born.
Amazing what you can do with just a 4-track cassette recorder…
From there, the journey grew eventually ending up with everything “In the box”.

Over more than four decades, countless ideas—and some tough lessons from life—have been written down and transformed into songs.
Even through periods of distance, we always found our way back to each other, bringing along new ideas that were shaped into new music.

Now, with a mix of nostalgia and pride, we’re revisiting everything we’ve created.
We’re listening with fresh ears and reshaping what still resonates.
We’re reviving the songs still worthy of sounding through speakers, phones, earbuds or whatever devices that didn’t even exist back then.
And of course, we’re working on new material as well…

You may have noticed: we’re songwriters at heart, not performers.
These songs, recorded as demo’s, were never meant to gather dust… they were written to be heard, to be felt, and to be reimagined.
We’d be honored to see them brought to life by passionate musicians and powerful inspiring voices.
